Gaze Magazine
This magazine is an exploration of queerness and gender affirming care. Depicted is the expression of vibrancy within self acceptance of being nonbinary. This process was a discovery in what it means to center the trans gaze, instead of the male gaze. Follow Leigh Lennon in their process of exploring their femininity and masculinity through an artistic guide to how to apply TransTape™ for chest binding. These pictures were taken on 35mm film with the help of photo assistant, Megha Nair. We utilized gels and LED lighting to create the rainbow of colors shown. This magazine was self published with monotype screen printed covers on cardstock with an array of colors The end pages are marbled paper corresponding with the covers. The inside content was created into 11x17 spreads to captivate the reader. Everything was bonded with copper staples. This bright assortment of magazines make an edition of 11 with ____ pages each.
